So here I am, sitting in the hospital having my zolderonic acid bone strengthening treatment soaking up the luxury of a few minutes with my own thoughts. We have had a lovely week of visitors for Christmas, I have been embarrassingly spoilt and pampered… I am definitely not complaining ? My energy levels are at last starting to improve and I am feeling much more positive.
Here in the hospital today I am surrounded by other people in different stages of cancer treatment. Some are at the beginning of their treatment, others are veterans, all have an energy that combines determination with a little fear. It may be because of the time of year or just my lifted mood but today the energy is particularly positive!
Our next visitors arrive tomorrow so we have a day to ourselves, replenishing stores and energy ready for the next dose of festive fun.
I hope that you are all having a peaceful yet fun time and I look forward to catching up with you in the new year.

We’ve been in Wilburton for the last few days of 2015. H&W had lots of fun playing in the straw bales, feeding the horses and walking the dog … we were probably doing similar things [a number] of years ago! xxxx
